The joint-stock Company GRANIT-VT was founded in 1992 on the basis of a staff of the research departments of research institute "Granite".

The basic field of activity of the Company was and remain development, manufacture and support of operation of computing and peripheral electronic board and systems designed on their basis. The basic area of application of the developed equipment are systems, working in hard environments, such as a wide range of working temperatures, increased humidity, other adverse climatic factors, and also increased levels of mechanical factors.

As a successful example of our work could be consider the development in 1993-94 (with the assistance of Russian Office of the Intel® Corporation) of the CREDO-486 CPU-board, used at the moment in a number of railway and air systems.

Organization in 1994 together with joint-stock company “Gamma ” (nowadays “Gamma Electronics”) and with assistance of Russian Office of the Intel® Corporation of the Regional Centre of Support of Developments on the programmable logic basis has become a separate stage of our activity. As result of  this project more than 40 firms (mostly of north-west region of Russia) were supplied with the basic version of Software for development of the projects on the  programmable logic basis, complete set of the literature translated into Russian, opportunity of programming PLD-circuits, technical consulting. The GRANIT-VT keeps up working contacts and business cooperation with many of participants of this project.

The main stages of our activity were:

	Development of Railway Control, Navigation and Safety Increasing System for locomotive systems upgrades.
	Participation in development of Complex Strapdown Inertial Navigation System for civil aircraft avionics.
	Development of a Train Control, Navigation and Safety Increasing System with function of automatic control for a high-speed railways.

At present GRANIT-VT offers a line of general purpose CPU-boards, memory extension boards, interface boards and application-specific boards. A number of the enterprises, working in close cooperation with us, develop and  produce a line of compatible boards.

Besides submitted here serially produced production we are glad to offer you services in the field of design and manufacture as an electronic control system of any degree of complexity, and any their components - devices, boards, critical software.
