Flash-memory module NEURON-3V

NEURON-3V is a serial interfaces controller with VMEbus interface. It contains 6 x RS232, 2 x RS485 and  2 x CANbus controllers in single 3U module.

The base area of application of NEURON-3V module are mission critical systems such as automatic and automated control systems of mobile objects (aircrafts, ships, railway and automotive transport and etc), industrial control and data collection systems,  as well as other systems, working in hard environments.

System interface VMEbus according to ANSI/IEEE STD 1014-1987 (IEC 821 and 297).

Data transfer format VMEbus - A24/D8.

Programmable VMEbus interrupts levels  - IRQ1..IRQ7 (up to 3 levels in same time).

  RS232 and RS485 serial channels controller

8 optically isolated full-duplex asynchronous channels with independent control  (6 x RS232, 2 x RS485 channels).

64-byte FIFO per transmitter and receiver.

Independed baud rate selection for transmitter and receiver.

Baud rate up to 1 mbps.

Automated flow control with Xon/Xoff.

8 special characters recognized and generated.

Galvanic isolating of output cascades.

Modem mode is not supported.

  CANbus controller

2 optically isolated  CANbus channels.

CAN specification 1.0 and 2.0 supported.

Programmable baud rate up 1 mbps with line length up to 40 meters.

Power supply voltage +5 V ± 5%.

Power consumption not exceeding 5 Watt.
